Mervin J. Redmond, Sr.

      Mervin Jerome Redmond, Sr acknowledged his desire to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ at the age of 17 years old. In 1999, he was installed as the pastor of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church of San Francisco, California where he currently serves. This man of God is a powerful preacher, an inspiring teacher and a dedicated servant of God.

      Pastor Redmond has served in many different capacities over the years and has ministered at churches throughout the nation. Pastor Redmond attended Bishop College in Dallas, Texas majoring in Biblical Studies. In October of 2014, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Faith International University in Tacoma, Washington. 

      Pastor Redmond believes the word of God to be true and right. He gives full credit to God for his life and ministry. “By the grace of God, I am what I am.” 1 Corinthians 15:10

      Pastor Redmond is a native of San Francisco, California and is married to the beautiful Valerie Renee Brocks. The Lord blessed their union with special blessings being their children: Mervin Jr., Meya Jannelle and their bonus son, Anthony Spruell.
